Details the development and deployment of the North Korean KN-02 Short Range Ballistic Missile (SRBM) and it's transporter-erector-launcher (TEL). The KN-02 is a North Korean produced version of the former Soviet SS-21 Scarab (9K79 Tochka) SRBM. While the TEL was developed from an imported MAZ-630308 commercial truck. Examples of the missile were acquired during late-1990s and placed into production in the DPRK. The article contains six color photographs and a line drawing of the new North Korean produced launcher.
